I have a 6 month old dachshund and a 6 month old Pomeranian. The pom potties in her crate 50% of the time due to the fact she’s still too small for the smallest crate I found, and every cardboard divider I make for it she still pees on. My dachshund isn’t as bad about it but when he does he poops and then walk all in it. However I don’t have as much trouble with them when they are out. My Pomeranian gets rebellious sometimes but other times the both of them only have accidents occasionally. I’ve been letting them stay alone in the bathroom on days I’m only running errands for an hour or two and they never potty while I’m gone when I do that. I’m waiting to have them fixed to leave them alone longer. Do you think it’s an anxiety issue they get from being in the crate? They love to sleep together and play together, so I don’t know if the separation at night etc gets them wound up. Any advice or opinions? How did you transition your dogs?

He’s a 12 week old husky. We have a big fenced yard so we let him out when ever needed. But when we first brought him home we used the crate. And had the divider so he wouldn’t soil on him self and I would take him out every 30 min. And he was doing really good but now he’s been peeing in his crate almost/every time I leave. And I don’t leave very often I’m usually always home. If I do leave a don’t leave for more then 3hours. And he always pees. I left for 15 min today and he peed. He’s really smart he knows sit, stay, give me five, up, come, go home. So I dunno why he has accidents in his crate still. And around the house. Like in the living room and underneath the dinning table, and in the kitchen. Help please! Is this anxiety? Or accidents? Or is he doing it for attention?

I’m fourteen years old, and i just got my new puppy. I’m not the best when it comes to responsibility, but with my new puppy, I’ve been going pretty well. she is a female, boxer/Australian shepherd, and she is colored brindle. her names Kona. and i have a few questions i need help with, or else my mom is thinking of taking her back. (and i only got her last sunday)

    - for the whole house training thing, its been alright. good, but not the best either. shes had her accidents, and things, but i do take her out every once and a while. but it seems that she has to pee every 15 minutes. is this normal? she is 12 weeks old by the way.

    - crate training. i watched several dvds on simple ways to train my dog.
since the cage is still s little too large, i set the divider into her cage. this way there is enough space for her to hang out, and not so much room so that she can create a potty area. (thats what they said in the video) but today i came home and she had poop all in her cage, is the space too big or too small?

    - mouthing. my dog is very aggresive when it comes to playtime, and she bites all the time. now i know that this will happen since she is still teething. but she even gets to aggresive, that she starts growling at me.

    HELP!?!
